DQT型對射式光幕可與DQET型控制器配套使用或直接連接PLC以及安全繼電器，配合機床控制系統，實現危險情況時控制自動停機的功能。DQT型光幕的檢測間距有10mm（手指保護）、20mm（手掌保護）和40mm（手臂和人體保護三種）。
